Format Ideation
Upon receiving this prompt I specifically decided I wanted to create a wallet app, rather than just an app for driver's licenses, to expand the concept in a more complex way.
Styling Ideation
Idea #1
- Inspired by the illustrations provided by the Apple Wallet for selected states, I would extend that idea to NY and changing the architecture of each page to prioritize displaying said illustrations.

Idea #2
- I feel like whenever a theme is created for New York State, there’s often a big focus on NYC landmarks without any sort of attention put into representing upstate NY, or Long Island. So when thinking up a theme that could resonate with ALL citizens of NYS, I realized that one thing that is consistent throughout the whole state is iconic bodies of water. So a way of paying tribute to NY’s many bodies of water that we pride ourselves for, this style would center an aquatic theme with 3D elements to keep it from looking outdated.

For the Final Style Guide I ended up with a combination of both ideas, taking stylistic elements from Idea #1 and thematic elements from Idea #2
